Activation Landing Sub
A metal body with an installed sleeve that houses a shear seat.

Application area and experience
The activation landing sub is designed to activate the liner hanger, seat the ball in the seat, and land the liner-wiper and pump-down plugs in the receiving socket (sleeve) with subsequent locking; landing of the liner-wiper and pump-down plugs serves as a “STOP” signal.
