Mass Flow Meters – Counters

Mass flow meters – counters are designed for measuring mass flow rate and total mass of liquids and gases, volumetric flow rate and volume of liquids, density of liquids, and temperature of liquids and gases. The measurement principle is based on the Coriolis effect.

ADVANTAGES

  • measurement in forward and/or reverse flow direction;
  • density measurement is based on measuring the oscillation period of tubes, proportional to the density of the medium;
  • temperature measurement is performed using a built-in platinum resistance temperature detector Pt100;
  • flow meters consist of a primary flow transmitter with built-in resistance thermometer and secondary electronic transmitter in sealed enclosures;
  • the electronic unit can be equipped with a display and control elements in the form of optical switches;
  • the electronic unit can be installed on the primary transmitter (integral version) or connected to the sensor via cable (remote version);
  • automatic fault diagnostics and malfunction indication.

  • density measurement range: from 0.5 to 3000 kg/m³;
  • temperature measurement range of measured medium: from −196 to +350 °C;
  • ambient temperature of primary transmitter: from −50 to +80 °C;
  • ambient temperature of electronic unit: from −40 to +60 °C;
  • relative humidity of air: 95%;
  • gauge pressure: not exceeding 41.5 MPa;
  • output signals: current 4 to 20 mA, frequency-pulse, RS 485 MODBUS RTU protocol, HART;
  • permissible error limits for mass and flow measurements of liquids: ±0.1 / ±0.15 / ±0.25 / ±0.5%;
  • permissible error limits for mass and flow measurements of gases: ±0.5 / ±0.75 / ±1.0%;
  • permissible absolute error limits for density measurements: ±0.3 / ±0.5 / ±1.0 / ±2.0 kg/m³.
